Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Coachd mobile application and related services (“Coachd”, “the app”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Coachd.

1. Who can use Coachd

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under 18, you may only use Coachd with the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.

2. What Coachd is — and is not

Coachd is a training-record and communication tool for coaches, gyms and athletes. It helps you log training, plan sessions, record fight information and share notes.

3. Your content

Training logs, notes, fight records and messages you create remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process and display that content in order to run the service — for example, showing a training log to the coach you have connected with.

You are responsible for the content you upload, including making sure you have the right to share it and that it is accurate. Do not upload anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Coaches, gyms and athletes

• An athlete chooses which coach to connect with, and can leave a coach's roster at any time.
• A coach can see the training information an athlete has shared with them. Anything an athlete marks private stays private.
• Where a coach belongs to a gym, coaches and the head coach of that gym may see gym-level information such as the roster, schedule and shared notices.
• A coach may leave a gym at any time. Their own athletes stay with them; records created under the gym remain with the gym.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and those stores handle billing.

• Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not in the app.
• Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects you.
• Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy.

If a subscription lapses, paid features stop but your data is not deleted. You can resubscribe and pick up where you left off.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, bully or abuse another user;
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service;
• use Coachd to break any law or regulation.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app, or at coachd.org/delete-account.html. Deleting an account permanently removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Records other users created — for example a coach's own notes about a session — may remain with them.

8. Availability

We work to keep Coachd running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continuing to use Coachd after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
